Paris, France
Paris is a big city. Lots of neighborhoods, lots of history, and lots of food.
You want to enjoy it all, and you're short on time.
Down to business!
If you landed into CDG (Charles De Gaulle Airport):
Head to the train station (ask, everyone knows where it is).
Stop by the Left Luggage place on the right before you head downstairs to the train station. It's not expensive, and will let you enjoy your layover hands-free.
Buy a ticket at one of the machines - it costs €10 when I wrote this. It may be based on time and may be round trip if you're back within a certain amount of time - let me know.
Get on to the RER BPIFE32 towardSt-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse for 13 stops (takes about 41 minutes).

- Arc de Triomphe
- Center Georges Pompidou
- Champs-Elysees
- Chateau de Versailles - make sure to see the gardens of Marie Antoinette, which in my opinion are the most beautiful parts, especially in the summer. She had it built as a sanctuary for herself because she hated her husband so much and just wanted to get away from him. You will need to take trains away from everything else to see this, but it is VERY WORTH IT!
- Eiffel Tower
- Île de la Cité
- Jardin du Luxembourg
- Les Invalides
- Montmartre
- Musée Rodin
- Notre Dame de Paris
- Palais Garnier
- Panthéon
- Père Lachaise Cemetery
- Place de la Concorde
- Sacré-Cœur basilica
- Sainte-Chapelle
- The Louvre Museum
- The Orsay Museum
- Moulin Rouge - very close to Montmartre.
